  • Performed a variety of spine surgeries in my university hospital starting from 1994 as my subspecialty, that includes :
    • Disc Surgeries including routine fenestration, as well as endoscopically guided.
    • Surgical management and stabilization of spinal fractures.
    • Surgical management of spine infection and tumors.
    • Surgical correction and stabilization of spine deformities.
    • Surgical management of spinal canal stenosis.
    • Artificial disc surgeries.
  • Prepared a thesis for my M.D. degree comparing the results of interbody lumbar spine fusion with bone graft vs. cages , (1994).
  • Supervising MD.Thesis involving different spine fields like TLIF, Artificial disc surgery (lumbar and cervical )….
  • In Europe:
    • Received one month training on the use of Brantigan Interbody Fusion Cages in PLIF and ALIF in the Netherlands and Belgium (1996).
    • Received training on the management of spine deformities inn the Royal National orthopedic Hospital in London.
    • Awarded 15 weeks fellowship in the spine unit, Queen’s Medical Center, Nottingham. I was involved in a variety of spine surgeries including trauma, tumors, degenerative spine, rheumatoid spine, minimally invasive surgeries…etc.
    • Attended spine surgeries with well-known spine surgeons (e.g. Dr. Alexander G. Hadjipavlou, Dr. Behrooz A. Akbarnia, Mr. Tim Morley and Mr. J. k. Webb….. starting from 1994 till now.
