The French consultant Dr . Michael Dib talked about the most recent management of pain and headache , he said :

That migraine headache considered as a common disease that attack more than 15% of population . however it's diagnosis and management are mostly inaccurate and unknown For the most of patient because of it's insufficient studies ,and patients neglecting it, although its signs and symptoms which are : Pulsating headache with nausea disturbance of noises & lights and it's repeatable

There are three methods to manage this condition :

• By treating the symptoms by giving pain killers on demand
• Prophylactics medication
• Non medical managements , for example avoiding eating chocolates , sleeping at fixed times and by hypnoses

The second speaker was Dr. Hassan Hosni the Professor of neurology in Cairo University

He spoken about the update in management of epilepsy

Dr. Hosni added that the percentage is high in Egypt especially among children and old age
People , and they discussed the updated medication for these cases and medical problems of the pregnant women that take epilepsy medications and the most recent medical management in critical stages
In addition , the studies handled the children of epilepsy educating them how to chose the best medications that not affecting their school educations

Finally, Dr Hany Aref talked about the most recent studies about management of the cerebral stroke.

The section discussed the most recent management of cerebral stroke as it concerned as a high percent
for patient of:

• High blood pressure
• Smokers
• Obesity
• High lipeds ( high cholesterol)

And as we know ( prophylactic is better than cure ) , patients with cerebral stroke are more liable for repeated attack specially if not controlling the reasons that we mentioned before

The most recent studies showed that cases of cerebral stroke can be treated better if patient arrived within the first 4.5 hours of the attack as the patient can take the anti coagulant of the thromboses , that is why ( the European Society of Cerebral Stroke ) Advices to transfer the patient quickly to the nearest center specialized once the symptoms of attack cerebral stroke happened and these symptom are :

• Sudden weakness of the upper and the lower limps
• Double vision
• Sudden lack of equilibrium ( no balance )
• In edition to other symptoms that shows beginning of the cerebral stroke

After treating the acute stage of cerebral stroke , the patient may suffers of a handicap that is hemiplegia in most of the cases
In this condition Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy plays vital roll in treating and proving the physical condition because the brain condition is still flexible the can compensate and recover a big part of the physical handicapped that happened if the patient received the right rehabilitation program to teach and train the brain on it .
