Urinary Incontinence

About 15-20 % Of children at the age of 5 years old & 5 % of those at the age of 5 years old are suffering from incontinence of urine, through which the child can’t control urination although he pass the limited age for it .

Incontinence of urine is manifested in both sexes , although the percentage of occurrence is more in males . The child gets shy embarrass & exposed to obligation from others, that make him unable to share in different activities .

Advice :

• Don’t punish or blame your child for bed wetting as it is an involuntary event .
• Encourage the child if you get his bed dry at the morning, this will help him to trust himself with gradual cure .
